The short version
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The salary, filing status, pay frequency, and pre-tax amounts you type are used to produce a result on your own device and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no account, no signup, no email gate, and no server-side copy of your numbers.
What we collect
Nothing about you personally. This site has no contact forms, no newsletter, no user accounts, and no login. Because there is no form to submit, there is no field for us to store.
What the calculator does with your inputs
Your salary and other entries stay in the browser tab you are using. They are used only to calculate the estimate shown on screen. Nothing is sent over the network, and closing or reloading the page discards them.
Cookies and browser storage
We set no cookies, and no tracking or advertising technology of any kind runs on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is a single, non-identifying session flag that remembers you asked to open the calculator from a navigation link, so the page can scroll to it. That flag clears when you close the tab.
Analytics and advertising
There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising network, no affiliate tracking, and no third-party embed on any page. Nothing you do here is compiled into a profile, and no advertising identifier is created.
Server logs
Like every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages records standard access information, such as the IP address, browser type, and time of a request. Those logs belong to the hosting provider, are used for delivering and protecting the site, and are not used by us to identify individual visitors or to build a picture of what you entered in the calculator.
If you email us
Emailing [email protected] means we hold your address and the content of your message so we can reply. It is used for that purpose only, kept only as long as needed to answer and record the fix, and never sold, rented, or added to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete a past message at any time using the same address.
Being right about this
If you believe this policy does not match how the site actually behaves, tell us and it will be investigated and corrected. A privacy claim that turns out to be wrong is a bigger problem than the feature that caused it.
